Back to the sewing room.

It feels like it has been a while since I have sewn something completely from scratch and dependant on a commercial paper pattern.

 Recently I was asked by a dear friend to make a dress for her to take to Germany to wear at her sister in laws wedding and I liked the idea of making something beautiful again. 

So far it is all cut out and this is the lining being sewn together with the sun shining through the window.

Well I suppose I should start with who I am and what I want you to get out of my blog.

I spend most of my time op shopping or sitting in my sewing room for hours dreaming up things to make or create.
I love strange but beautiful things, and I love finding something great in an op shop.

Hopefulling through my blog I can share with you my special finds, things that I have worked on and things that I'm working on.
